bryoncaver
My wife had for years told me about how much she loved West Side Story. She had seen it dozens of times, and it is one of her favorite movies. So I was greatly looking forward to TCM showing West Side Story last Monday night. I'm hard of hearing, so I have to use Closed Captioning to be able to understand what is being said on TV. Imagine my surprise, disappointment and annoyance when, after trumpeting the showing all month, TCM broadcasts West Side Story WITHOUT closed captioning! As a result, I was unable to enjoy the showing, and I am a bit upset with the programmers at TCM. Why, in this day and age, did TCM not provide Closed Captioning for such a heralded movie? Thank you.
