FrankDee
Can anyone tell me why the original ending for the first Karate Kid movie has been taken off? It originally ended with Pat Morita grabbing the nose of the mean boys leader( teacher) and squeezing it! Really was the very best part of the entire movie. Anyone have a clue on this??? In some cultures grabbing ones nose or someone else's is considered extremely offensive that's the only possible reason , the last time i watched it about a year ago on ch5 then ending was the same , are you sure you didn't fall asleep . danielsan
You're mistaken. The scene you are recalling is from the beginning of KK2. KK2 begins immediately after KK ends -- with Daniel winning the championship. Pat Morita is then attacked by the evil sensi in the parking lot, beats him and tweaks his nose rather than bashing the sensi's face in. Daniel then copies that humiliating technique during the climatic fight with his rival, bring KK2 to a much needed end.
