Young Frankenstein (Fronkensteen)

Recommended Posts

I'm not a fan of Some Like it Hot.   It has it moments but to me it is mostly a one joke comedy.    Yes,  humor is subjective.   I have the Marx Brothers and you have Some Like It Hot.

I do like Jack Lemmon especially the films he made with Judy Holliday (the actress that re-energized comedy after the post WWII period lost the sparkle).

I know Judy Holliday very well.  She was Lemmon's first leading lady.

One of the reasons why I am such a big fan of SLIH is the fact that there is lots of music in it and music is my life, that and cats.  I also happen to love the individual performances.

P.S.  Now everyone knows which comedy team I meant even if they didn't read that thread -which by the way I had to research so that I could write down my winners so that I could take part in the decade review in a few weeks.  You have saved everyone a lot of time if they are not part of that thread and are wondering which team I meant.

The only comedy team I enjoy everything they did together is Laurel and Hardy.

My favourite comedy routine of all time is Who's On First with Abbott and Costello.
