jenjen
Hi!! Cary Grant did a movie in the late forties (or early 50's) called "The easy way" or "Room for one more". I forgot who starred with him. It was about an engineer and his wife who already have 3 kids and they adopt 2 troubled children. I remember TMC and AMC (when they were good) would run it once every 5 years or so. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of it?? I tried amazon..Ebay...no luck! I'ts such a sweet movie. I think they even based an old sitcom (Room for one More) off of it back in the early 60's. I wonder why it's so rare and they never feature it when a "Cary Grant week" is shown! Does anyone even remember this movie? Any help would be greatley appreciated!! Thanks!! movieman1957
Betsy Drake was his costar and real life wife (or soon to be.) I have a fond memory of that movie too but, like you, haven't seen it for years. Fear not, it may show up. Recently TCM also showed two other Grant movies that I haven't seen in 15 years or more. They were "Crisis" and "Dream Wife." So there is hope.

nyoka1
I wonder if there might be a rights problem with "Room For One More", as I haven't seen it turn up anywhere in years ... http://greenbriarpictureshows.blogspot.com/
VictorECoffee
There is a copy of it for sale right now on eBay, for another 12 hours or so. It'll be gone a little after 7pm eastern time Tuesday evening. Here's the link -- "Room for One More" on eBay There also appears to be a service at the Ultimate Cary Grant Pages for helping fans obtain watchable copies of commercially unavailable Cary Grant films, including "Room for One More" -- Hard-To-Find Cary Grant Videos

ChelseaRialtoStudios
ROOM FOR ONE MORE was retitled THE EASY WAY by Warner Bros. so that its television appearances would not be confused with their own series of the same name (and based on the feature). The original film is part of the post-1950 package of Warner titles, the larger ones having been subject to a longterm contract with HBO/Cinemax. Cinemax has run ROOM FOR ONE MORE (as THE EASY WAY, I believe) and may do so again. Other classics in this group of titles are CAGED, THE BREAKING POINT, THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS, OPERATION PACIFIC, ON MOONLIGHT BAY, BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON and many others.
