Ipcress
The subject is all I was wondering. I don't understand why this movie has never been released on DVD. My father (I'm 22) brought this to mind fairly recently. Does anybody have any clue about this? You'd think an award or two to a movie's credits would catch some attention... lzcutter
The film was entangled for quite some time in rights issues. I don't know if they have been resolved yet. I vaguely remember reading that the rights issues may be cleared up and the film is in restoration but don't quote me on it.

Black_and_WhiteCharm
That's weird cos I have it on DVD! But I live in Ireland so it's probably out here and not in America!
vallo13
According to "Moviesunlimited" Q&A section. The African Queen is currently being restored and should have an mid 2007 DVD release. Keep your fingers crossed. But "Caged" 1950( Eleanor Parker) was already supposed to be released by now ,but that according to Warner Bros. will also have to wait until 2007. vallo
