anderson359
Not entirely sure if this is the appropriate forum, but... I just saw TCM's "Visually Stunning but Ultimately Pointless Sequel" commercial yesterday at the movie theater and really enjoyed it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have it posted anywhere on their site here. Thanks
bingsmyguy
It should be, but it's not.
Guest rsteiner0609
it is actually. if you go into the video section (under Multimedia), and scroll down to "TCM Multiplex Video" - you can play it there.
path40a
****!!! I don't know how I ever failed to see this one before, but last night I saw this promo (for the Essentials?) for the first time. A couple shows up at the multiplex to buy tickets to see the "visually stunning, but ultimately pointless sequel". When that's sold out, they discuss seeing "bloating budget buddy movie", "painfully unfunny comedy", "mindless drivel", or "over-hyped piece of rubbish". The matron suggests "cop goes outside system to avenge death of his murdered partner", "star pairing totally lacking in chemistry", or "action hero tries madcap comedy but fails miserably". And then there's another customer who wants to see "hack drama made by hack director using hack script", when they decide they will see "poorly written remake" (but, unfortunately it's sold out). What a scream! Here is a direct link: http://www.turnerclassicmovies.com/Multimedia/WindowsMedia/0,,26653,00.wvx
evh55
I just saw this commercial and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. To me, this is why TCM is the best! Witty and sophisticated humor is in all too short a supply these days.
