FAYE DUNAWAY was costumed in all manner of glamourous dresses in "The Thomas Crown Affair" (the '68 version).

Next:  Actress who left the profession -- at least for a while -- in order to raise her young 'uns.

Natalie Wood and Angela Lansbury both came to mind. Angela Lansbury's was less of raising her youngsters but more straightening out her young adult children who were in heavy trouble.
