jakeem
Polly Sigh @dcpoll NEW: Justice Dept shifted its review of the Russia investigation to a criminal inquiry, giving Durham the power to subpoena witnesses, impanel a grand jury, and file criminal charges. All so Barr can deliver Trump a political victory. by @ktbenner #Maddow nyti.ms/2Jj4hMk 8:43 PM · Oct 24, 2019·Twitter Web App 1
jakeem
Polly Sigh @dcpoll Barr is managing the inquiry, wasting taxpayer money to run down unfounded, right-wing conspiracy theories. Durham has interviewed 24+ former and current intelligence officials, asking, among other things, if CIA officials tricked the FBI into opening the Russia probe. 9:27 PM · Oct 24, 2019·Twitter Web App
jakeem
Susan Hennessey @Susan_Hennessey Barr takes DOJ even deeper down a very ugly path. The Department must know every move here will be scrutinized for years. jakeem
John Dean @JohnWDean That Barr has launched a criminal investigation of the origins of the Russia investigation but not launched an investigation of the Ukrainian matters smells more than fishy, it smell like whatever scum smells like! jakeem
Polly Sigh @dcpoll Trump is certain to see the bogus criminal inquiry as a vindication of the years he spent lying about the Russia probe but the opening of a criminal inquiry raises alarms about how Trump is using the DOJ – Barr – to go after his perceived enemies. #Maddow 8:54 PM · Oct 24, 2019·Twitter Web App
jakeem
Laurence Tribe @tribelaw If I trusted Barr, this would seem merely extraordinary. Because I don’t, it seems extremely fishy This looks like yet another abuse of power by Trump and Barr. No coincidence that it was unveiled right after the devastating Taylor testimony on Ukrainegate. Seems like a politically driven stratagem to distract attention from the impeachment inquiry. 9:54 PM · Oct 24, 2019·Twitter for iPhone

jakeem
Aunt CrabbyVerified account@DearAuntCrabby Now it becomes clear. @RealDonaldTrump and Attorney General Bill Barr are creating this fake criminal investigation as smoke and mirrors to counter the Democratic Impeachment Investigation. It is so obvious, right?
jakeem
Scott Dworkin @funder Trump is using the DoJ to investigate his enemies. Instead of focusing on the traitors that helped Russia attack America, they are investigating the people that were working hard to protect our country. jakeem
Steven Beschloss @StevenBeschloss I hope Trump’s GOP enablers keep whining about the impeachment process & the lack of transparency. Once televised hearings begin in full force and the case against Donald J.
