We strongly condemn the Castro regime’s accusations against our Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Havana. The regime uses these baseless accusations to distract the international community from its abuses, but the U.S. will not waver in our support of the Cuban people.

Still got some of those poisoned cigars from the 1960s in the embassy?

ROFL-- The Democrats don't want either of them either!

The Dems in Iowa seem to like Mayor Pete. He's leading in the polls there.

The electoral foundation of the Democratic party is the black voter.

Don't know how many black people there are in Iowa, but Mayor Pete has been a complete disappointment in his inability  to communicate and to show knowledgeable solidarity with his own black community in South Bend-- much less black voters on a national level.

That kind of relationship with a minority electorate can take years or even decades to build.

I watched his confrontation with his own black community on TV. He appeared to have no real support or interest in these people. It was like they were complete strangers to him.

He would be the first person to tell you that unless he reinvents himself with the ability to communicate with this basic electoral  component in the Democratic party, he doesn't have a national chance.

Oh, he has absolutely zero national chance, but his troubles with the black vote are just one reason. His being openly gay and named Buttigieg also marked him as a non-starter to begin with.

And yes, I believe the American electorate is that shallow.

Mayor Pete is phenomenal in many regards.

People were talking about all these languages that he can speak.

I saw him on TV in Paris in front of Notre Dame right after the fire. And they were asking him questions in French extemporaneously, and I can tell you he spoke French very well.

He's a very intelligent and well-educated man.

And he's got a lot of charisma.

That's my personal opinion of him anyway.

He is still young yet and has a bright future ahead of him.

We learned yesterday that Trump is using a secure facility (a SCIF) to communicate with jurors

in his upcoming impeachment trial without anyone being able to record what he says.

How did

@washingtonpost report that *corruption*?

"Trump Sets Up Camp David As 'Adult Playground'"

1. Camp David is a SCIF. 2. Cell phone use is restricted. 3. Trump calls in regularly for an unknown duration. 4. He's calling in to GOP jurors.

5. The cover story is that he's just creating a space for GOP senators and their wives to relax and enjoy themselves.

6. It's *insane*.

<_<

Bloomberg & Steyer could be heroes if, instead of running themselves, they use their money to support the ticket, get out the vote despite the suppression that’s coming, work for election integrity & fund effective messages to counter Trump’s lies in every corner of the country.
