Trump's Biggest Whoppers

Recommended Posts

I think the outrage fatigue has a lot to do with the 'outrage' being cheered on by all of Trump's enablers and supporters and his willingness to up the ante all the time.  There seems to be no shelter from this storm.   Despair is setting in.

3 prosecutors who were working on the Roger Stone case have resigned.  Meanwhile Trump said he did not talk to Barr about it, though he could have if he had wanted to.  He then went on to say the whole thing was a disgrace and that the wrong people were going to prison.

Roger Stone was found guilty by jury.  The prosecutors probably spent more than a year of there lives on that case.

Update ... now all 4 of the prosecutors have resigned from the case.

Attorney General Barr's opening remarks at his Senate confirmation:

"Nothing could be more destructive of our system of government, of the rule of law, or the Department of Justice as an institution than any toleration of political interference with the enforcement of the law."

So can we expect him to do the honorable thing and resign, or must this political crony be impeached, for his out and out cronyism?!?

I think the current PR about the budget is that the cuts will be for the "welfare" portions of social programs.  But make no mistake the current Republican leadership and probably most supporters are absolutely in favor of cutting Social Security, Medicare.  And then they move on to VA and military benefits.  They already are in some instances.

The budget calls for cuts to Hospitals providing services under Medicare;   I don't view these as "cutting Medicare" especially since the Medicare inpatient hospital fee schedule is overly generous IMO,    but it will result in some hospitals not admitting  Medicare patients expect as required by law for E.R. services.

Senate GOP again blocks three election security bills

Moscow Mitch and cohorts seem hell -bent on  keeping Donald Trump In  office.  They voted to acquit without wanting to hear or see testimony or documents.  Now they are allowing foreign actors to again have meddle in the 2020 election, just like in 2016, to ensure Trump wins, no matter what the actual vote tally was.

Tony Podesta was working with Trump’s bestie and campaign manager Paul Manafort and Robert Mueller did refer him for prosecution. It was Trump’s Department of Justice that decided not to charge him so I have no idea what Trump is even complaining about.

The only thing that seems to be happening is that Trump is raging so hard there is blood coming out of his eyes and blood coming out of his whatever. He’s so mad he wants to get immediate revenge against his past political enemies like a bloodthirsty deranged dictator.

"We haven't heard from the most committed constituency of the Democratic Party — the African American community," Biden declared.

"99.9 percent" of black voters and "99.8 percent" of Latinx voters "have not yet had the chance to vote" he said.

That's cutting Medicare services to individuals.  Also, the co-pays will increase for patients even if there is some bargaining going on.  And if the hospitals don't accept the Medicare patient, then the doctors who use that hospital won't accept them either.

Entrepreneur Andrew Yang has officially ended his presidential campaign. Yang brought in a passionate "Yang Gang" of supporters, and he campaigned on the promise of giving every American $1,000 a month in a so-called "freedom dividend."
