President Joe Biden plans to keep FBI Director Chris Wray in the job, the White House press secretary says. FBI directors are appointed 10-year terms, meaning their tenure usually spans administrations. President Trump appointed Wray in 2017.

The Proud Boys and QAnon conspiracists are starting to dump Trump: http://bit.ly/2KzbcFf

But turnabout is fair play--

trump is threatening to dump the Republican Party if they don't support him wholeheartedly in this impeachment trial.

There's been some talk of him taking his 7O+ million voters with him into another party, that he would call the Patriot Party.

Who knows how many of those voters he could actually take away from the Republican Party?

The question for the Lackey GOP is--

Are they willing to convict trump for inciting a murderous Riot on their doorstep With the advantage of preventing him from ever running for president again?

But risk losing all of his Ardent supporters for their state, regional and local elections.

And, who knows, these trump supporters might never even vote for another Republican presidential candidate again if they convicted their boy of impeachment.

The stakes are high for the GOP, since they're already a minority party anyway.

This Insurrection Impeachment couldn't have come at a worse time for them.

trump has already thrown his number one sycophant Mike Pence under the bus,

So there's nobody safe from trump's sociopathic Revenge Reflex.

Former President Donald Trump’s supporters are mobilizing to exact revenge on the 10 House Republicans who supported impeachment last week, thrusting the GOP into a civil war just as party leaders are trying to move on from the Trump era

Rep. Malliotakis deliberately amplified a known lie and tried to overturn our election on it, which incited an insurrection of white supremacists that killed 5 people.

Her district is 30-40% people of color. How safe do you think they feel under her leadership? This is shameful.

It’s encouraging and necessary that the US and Russia are moving to extend New START’s limits. But the ban treaty is the vision Reagan and Gorbachev had 35 years ago and Obama embraced- a world without nuclear weapons. That should be the organizing principle of US policy.

NEW: The House voted Thursday to grant retired Gen. Lloyd Austin a waiver to lead the Pentagon, clearing the way for the Senate to confirm President Biden's nominee for defense secretary as early as this week.

The Senate also voted to grant Austin a waiver.

Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Jack Reed, who previously said he would not agree to another waiver after Mattis' confirmation, cited "historic circumstances" in explaining his reversal.

"A federal investigation against Texas [AG] Ken Paxton remains in play after his name was absent Wednesday from a last-minute list of pardons in the waning hours of Donald Trump’s presidency"

Reminder: he's already indicted & TX AG is on the ballot in '22
