The US has reached a "landmark day" in the Covid-19 pandemic as 60% of American adults have gotten at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, the CDC director says. In addition, more than 3.5 million people ages 12 to 17 have received their first dose.

A federal jury has awarded $75 million to two brothers in North Carolina, decades after they were convicted of rape and murder they did not commit.
 
The half-brothers were arrested in 1983 and spent nearly 31 years in prison before being exonerated in 2014
