Trump mocked for ‘sidelining’ his new $3 Million attorney: ‘Must have given him actual legal advice’

It's no secret Donald Trump has been virtually unable to hire highly-respected attorneys to defend him in the many legal and civil cases he is facing for a variety of alleged crimes and misdeeds, including his actions surrounding fraudulent efforts to overturn a free and fair election and the January 6 insurrection, his retention and refusal to return hundreds of classified documents, and his alleged real estate and tax fraud cases, and more.

One of the rumored reasons Trump, a former President, has been unable to retain quality legal representation is he "has a long history of allegedly not paying his bills," as Vanity Fair has noted.

Trump judge's own special master rebukes her for limiting his ability to do his job

When former President Donald Trump went to court against the Justice Department to stall the federal investigation into classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, a district judge he appointed, Aileen Cannon, granted Trump everything he asked for, appointing a special master to review the documents for executive privilege even though no legal precedent grants a former president privilege over national security documents, and effectively blocking the DOJ from conducting a national security review until the special master's work is complete.

Now, the special master himself, Senior Judge Raymond Dearie of Brooklyn, is rebuking Cannon for a decision that hamstrings a key function of the job she assigned him to do, in a filing published by Just Security. Specifically, he is taking issue with her rescinding his authority to issue interim reports as he conducts his review — and saying her reasoning for this made no sense.

New information is coming to light about the actions of Roger Stone before and after the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

On Tuesday, The New York Times reported Stone texted Trump attorney David Schoen asking for a presidential pardon.

Roger Stone claims there is a 'fake news tsunami' after CNN airs 'violence' video

Notorious GOP dirty trickster is categorically denying a new CNN report.

CNN reported, "The day before the 2020 election, Roger Stone, the long-time Republican operative and ally of former President Donald Trump, said in front of a documentary film crew that he had no interest in waiting to tally actual votes before contesting the election results. 'F*ck the voting, let’s get right to the violence,” Stone can be heard saying, according to footage provided by a Danish documentary film crew and obtained by CNN."

Trump spreads Nord Stream pipeline conspiracy theory in late night Truth Social post

Notorious birther, QAnoner and election denier Donald Trump is now spreading a conspiracy theory that the United States sabotaged Russia's Nord Stream pipeline.

"Explosions under the Baltic Sea and the rupture of major natural gas pipelines from Russia to Germany appeared to be a deliberate attack, officials across Europe said on Tuesday, deepening uncertainty about European energy security amid soaring prices and fears of running short of fuel over the winter," The New York Timesreported. "Three separate leaks erupted from the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which were already caught up in the conflict over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, sending swirling streams of methane to the surface of waters off Denmark and Sweden. Top Polish and Ukrainian leaders blamed Moscow, while Russian state media suggested U.S. or Ukrainian involvement."

Trump told guests he wasn’t using same White House toilet as Obama: ‘You understand what I’m talking about’

Donald Trump mistook a racially mixed group of Democratic staffers for domestic aides and asked them to serve the hors d’oeuvres, according to a new book.

The recently sworn-in president turned to the staffers for Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and others during a January 2017 meeting and asked them to get the canapes, according to excerpts from a forthcoming book from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman published by Rolling Stone.

GOP candidates dumping mentions of Trump from their websites as his troubles grow: report

According to a report from the Daily Beast, there is a correlation between Donald Trump's increasing legal problems and Republican Party candidates who will be on the ballot in November who are stripping all mention of him from their campaign websites as the election draws near.

With Trump facing multiple criminal investigations and lawsuits in New York and Georgia, an intensive investigation by the Department of Justice and renewed hearings by the House select committee looking into the Jan 6 insurrection, candidate website mentions of Trump or "Make American Great Again" are disappearing at a rapid rate.

Trump aides were stunned by his obsession with his staffers' sexuality: new book

Donald Trump often asked oddly personal questions about staffers' sexuality and made homophobic remarks about those he perceived might be gay, according to a new book.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman's forthcoming book, "Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America" reveals that Trump's obsession with appearing to be masculine drives his startling behavior, such as a meeting early in his administration with vice president Mike Pence and campaign aide Jason Miller, whom he declared certainly "likes the ladies," according to excerpts published by The Daily Beast.

Here's the real reason Trump has gone full QAnon — according to a conspiracy expert

During Donald Trump's Sept. 17 rally in Youngstown, Ohio, members of the audience began to sway in time with the music playing over the loudspeakers and pointed their index fingers in the air as the former president talked about the supposed disintegration of the United States. That salute, as it turned out, is tied to the massive conspiracy theory QAnon (or, more specifically, with a QAnon offshoot movement called Negative48 that has spent much of the last year waiting for the resurrection of John F. Kennedy Jr.). The song was an instrumental track that did not originate with the QAnon movement but has become associated with it after being reposted online under the title "Wwg1wga" — the abbreviated movement slogan "Where we go one, we go all."

In the week after his Ohio rally, Trump went on a Q-curious spree, posting a video on his Truth Social page that featured multiple QAnon slogans and images of the ex-president holding a playing card with the letter "Q" on it or striding through the center of a giant upper-case Q with a flagpole over his shoulder. On Friday, at another rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, he seemed to invoke QAnon's main themes and language — claiming that his own MAGA movement was "standing up against" "sick, sinister and evil people from within our own country" — even as the event's security team tried to stop attendees from pointing their fingers in the air.

'Confused' Trump nearly convinced to bomb Mexico by health official wearing military-style uniform: NYT's Haberman

According to another excerpt from the New York Times' Maggie Haberman's new book "Confidence Man," about Donald Trump's administration, the former president seriously proposed conducting bombing raids in Mexico to slow the flow of drugs into the U.S. because he thought a key health official was a military adviser.

In the excerpt from the Washington Posts' Josh Dawsey, Haberman wrote that Trump met with Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir, who was known to wear a military-style uniform while in the White House and during his television appearances, where Giroir suggested going after cartel drub labs.

New DOJ filing exposes Trump’s secret objections — and asks special master to call his bluff

The Justice Department in a filing on Tuesday revealed the Trump legal team's objections that they tried to keep under wraps.

Federal Judge Raymond Dearie, the special master tasked with reviewing thousands of documents seized from former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, earlier this month challenged Trump's lawyers to assert whether they believe his public claim that the FBI may have "planted" evidence during the search and produce evidence of Trump's claim that he "declassified" secret national security documents before taking them home.

Trump dismissed worries about sharing classified materials because he wanted to show off the 'sexy parts': new book

According to a report from the Washington Post on Maggie Haberman's book on Donald Trump, "Confidence Man," Donald Trump's lack of seriousness about classified materials -- as evidenced by his whisking boxes of them away to his Mar-a-Lago resort after he left office -- was on display while he was still president.

According to the book, the former president laughed off concerns from close aides after he proposed working with the Russians on internet hacking concerns and appalled national security officials when he wanted to tweet out a picture of a facility of interest in Iran because he got a kick out of the details in the photo.

Judge goes off on GOP leaders during Jan. 6 trial for being afraid to stand up to Trump

On Wednesday, POLITICO reported that one of the key judges overseeing the trials of January 6 defendants took aim at Republican leaders who have helped encourage former President Donald Trump's lies about the election, out of political expediency.

"U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson said former President Donald Trump had turned his lies about the election into a litmus test for Republican candidates and that 'high-ranking members of Congress and state officials' are 'so afraid of losing their power' that they won’t contradict him," reported Kyle Cheney. "That fealty, she said, comes even as law enforcement and judges involved in cases related to the former president are facing unprecedented threats of violence."

Senator Mike Lee was behind getting Sidney Powell on Trump's legal team: new book

Former Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-VA) began working on the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress not long after it was established. His focus with his four-person team was in sifting through all of the phone calls, text messages and multimedia messages that were uncovered from Mark Meadows' as part of a committee subpoena.

While the 2,319 messages have been released, Riggleman's newly released book, The Breach, detailed that when the text messages came out in April people like Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) didn't look quite as bad as Riggleman said he is.

Trump joked his model girlfriend Kara Young got her 'beauty' from her black mother and 'intelligence' from white father , new book claims

Trump joked his ex got her 'beauty' from her black mother and 'intelligence' from white

Former President Trump once joked that his former biracial model girlfriend got her 'beauty' from her black parent and her 'intelligence' from her white parent, according to a new book. Soon after meeting Young's parents, Trump remarked to his then-girlfriend how she had gotten her looks from her black mother and her 'intelligence' from 'her dad, the white side.' The former president laughed at his own joke, Young did not. Young and Trump dated from around 1997-1999 after meeting in the Hamptons, New York. That relationship seemingly overlapped with when he met and started dating another model, former first lady Melania in 1998, all the while still in the process of divorcing his second wife Marla Maples. Trump and Melania Knauss dated on and off until marrying in 2005.

Former President Donald Trump's time coming up in Queens is key to understanding his time in office and beyond.

That argument was made by longtime journalist Joe Klein, who reviewed the new Maggie Haberman book Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America in The New York Times.
