CG59
A year or so ago, I saw on TCM a French movie (English subs) about a young boy who goes wayward. The film documents his exploits as they go from innocent to serious. After trouble at school, he runs away and hides in a spare room of a friend. He participates in petty crime until he eventually is arrested and is sent to a Reformatory. He manages to escape while the guards are absorbed in boys' soccer game. The last scene shows him walking on the shore at low tide. (This scene impressed me) I would like to know the name of this film so I can purchase and give a copy to the French teacher for whom I subbed for this week. Many Thanks William
LawrenceA
Sounds like The 400 Blows by Francois Truffaut, but it's been many years since I saw it.
