I did find Hedy especially fetching in " Boom Town ", and Greta's best look was in " Grand Hotel ", but "Ninotchka " is a close second.

Well, thanks ken! I will try and post some of those pics later. I see shearerchic added three more: Linda Darnell, Lena Horne, and Rita Hayworth! For cryin' out loud, how many pictures is that? Ha!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I always heard that Rita was latin with a last name of CANSECO.

 

That would explain here amazing dancing ability.

 

BTW,great pic of Rita,smoldering and breathtaking.

Thanks, CB! You are correct. She was of Spanish decent. Her people came from Spain to New York, and the rest is history. I think ken is making a little jokey! The best part of her is her beauty, which SIMPLY MUST be Irish!! Ha!

That pic of Marsha Hunt. Just like Maureen last night. That was one that I had purchased from ( probably ) " Movie Memorabilia Shoppe ", a long, long time ago.

According to " Halliwell's Film Guide " ( various editions, but not the 15th - the last I have ) Rita was of Spanish - Irish descent. I swear !

Okay guys,I guess I take things too seriously.I get the joke.

 

I forgot that to Ken all that is pretty HAS TO BE IRISH! Ha!

 

I haven't had a chance to check out all of the pics but will do so now and get back to you.
